Changes coming: Effective March 2025
No more text messaging
All communications will be moved to the CLIENT PORTAL APP by SimplePractice. In an effort to make our practice meet standards for HIPPA and our ethical and legal guidelines, moving communication to the CLIENT PORTAL APP is necessary. You can access the app through the Android and iPhone app stores. After March 2025 you will no longer be able to access your therapist via text message.

Please remember that she is a remote worker who works non-traditional hours. She does her best to get back to all voicemails within 48 hours. All communication of Protected Health Information will now occur through encrypted e-mail.
No show/late cancel fee update
We are increasing the cancelation fee to $70. This fee reflects the time your therapist has set to hold your session and should be compensated appropriately if or when you are unable to attend. Your therapist does not get paid if a session does not take place. This cancelation fee is partial compensation for billable time lost. For a reminder of this policy please see your signed Informed Consent in the CLIENT PORTAL.
Expect updated consent forms through your client portal
We update our Informed consent, Notice of Privacy Practices, and other forms periodically. Our last update was in 2023. Please let your therapist know if you have any questions for concerns regarding our updated paperwork.
